Skin Game by Jim Butcher

If you aren't reading the Dresden Files, drop what you are doing an run (don't walk) to the nearest kindle, nook, book store or library and pick up Storm Front, the first book in the series. These books are the Godfather of Urban Fantasy.

That being said, this review is for the 15th book in the series, so if you aren't caught up STOP READING!

***SPOILERS BELOW THE JUMP***

After having mixed feelings about ending of Cold Days and the literal 'stuck in-between' story moments of Ghost Story before it, Skin Game brings us back to the Harry Dresden we know and love. Nicodemus is also back - one of my favorite Dresden Files villains!

In this book, the two of them face off in a battle of wits (with life and death stakes) while 'partnering' on a Ocean's Eleven-style heist in the underworld. Fan favorite characters return including Karin Murphy, Michael Carpenter, and Butters & Bob (who now fight crime together - Please give us a short story on these two, PLEASE!)

Swords are wielded, old gods sit down for a beer, demons are battled, and snarky insults are thrown. True to form this Dresden adventure was worth the wait and I look forward (as always) to more battles, magic and maybe romance to come!
