TV Review - The Flash "Pilot"

Looks like the CW and the DC Television Universe has another huge win on their hands.

Already on solid ground by introducing Barry Allen during a 2-part episode of Arrow last season, I had good feelings about this show.

Despite the fact that I had only seen Grant Gustin as a spoiled rich brat on Glee, his smile and easy charm quickly won me over.

Seriously - look at that smile, he's adorable!

The rest of the cast isn't too shabby either! Every member of the cast so far seems to be in perfect harmony with their characters and relationships. You can tell there is still a ton of room for mystery, discovery and growth for the cast throughout the season.

I swear when I saw Jessie Martin walk out of the bank at the beginning I heard the 'dun-dun' of a Law & Order intro in my head.

META HUMANS!  I love Arrow, but finally, some real superpowers!  I look forward to the reveal of new friendly and diabolical Metas in the future. We already know that Professor Zoom, Captain Cold, Girder, Killer Frost, Vibe, Firestorm, Plastique, Mirrormaster and more will have appearances this season (and a massive tease for Grodd!)  The special effects for the Flash running and the weather were top notch for television, so I say bring it on!

I am also thankful that they aren't playing the 'I have to hide who I am from everyone I love' thing again. It will cut down on the brooding.

And if all that hasn't convinced you - the massive tease at the ending moments will bring people back to watch for sure. I know I will!
