And now, back to the action!
After last week's exposition-fest, we finally have some new diabolical plans to thwart! Cursed money!
Yes, Henry has gotten his hands on at least one piece of Judas' 30 silver coins which brings out the darkness in it's holder - causing them to rob banks, blow up their fathers and try to assassinate the new sheriff.
Also, one caused Benedict Arnold to betray the US back in the day, because of course it did. And Ichabod knew him. Because, of course he did.

There is a new hottie in the Hollow, ladies. Nick Hawley - rogue antiquities hunter, played by Matt Barr. He's an old acquaintance of Jenny's and totally annoys Ichabod with his "privateer" swagger and unknown loyalties. He steals the coin, but does get Crane some much-needed fake ID as a peace offering. Based on the preview for next week, it looks like he will be sticking around for a while. |
Speaking of mixed loyalties... the mystery deepens around the new Sheriff - she not only 'knew' Momma Mills, but was the one who put her in the nut house (where she killed herself, presumably because of Moloch.) In the end, she does give Abbie her mom's psych file to help give her closure, so... maybe she isn't so bad? We'll see...
So, what are the horsemen up to? Henry (War) is playing lawyer, spreading around evil coin, smiling menacingly, having 'mommy issues' and building scale models of the town like he's going to summon Beetlejuice rather than Moloch. Abraham (Death/Headless) is whining to Henry about being stuck inside all the time (like he could walk around unnoticed while being headless, silly horseman...), and is finally not quite so trusting of Katrina's line of B.S. this week (and frankly, neither is Abbie!)
Still loving this wacky show. Until next week!
