Supergirl Gets Full Season Pick Up

Despite the mixed reviews in the bloggosphere, Supergirl has been quality family-friendly superhero fair - which IMHO is much needed with all of the darker, grittier hero shows out there. Don't get me wrong, I love those too, but I wouldn't share them with my 8 year old niece, but I would watch Supergirl with her.

I've read several blogs lately saying how lame she is compared to Jessica Jones - which to me is an utterly ridiculous comparison - in that there is no comparison. One is clearly for adults, one is for families. There is room for both.

So, I am glad that Supergirl got a full season order from CBS. I just hope they cool it with the love triangle and make with more alien bad guy butt kicking!
