With Star Wars: The Force Awakens on the horizon, Disney has finally cut a deal to release the first six Star Wars movies, for the very first time, on digital HD platforms for all your prep & catch up needs!
All six previous films, from 1977’s original Star Wars (a.k.a. A New Hope) to 2005’s Revenge of the Sith, will be available starting April 10 as a collection or individually at digital retailers that include Amazon, iTunes, Google Play, VUDU, Xbox Video, Playstation Store, and Verizon Fios.
We have NOT been able to confirm if the versions of the original trilogy will be the re-release versions from the 90's, but probably yes. [Han shot first.]

We are, however, still excited about this. I was reminded recently, while watching the video on below YouTube, about the magic and wonder of seeing these movies for the first time. So it's time to wake up the kids and (if you haven't already) introduce them to "Galaxy far, far away..."
Contains spoilers for those who haven't seen the movies - you know, if you exist....
