The first officially licensed Star Trek cruise will be leaving port in January 2017 - with none other than William Shatner at the helm! Well, hopefully he won't actually be at the helm, but the original James T. Kirk will definitely be on board the Norwegian Pearl when it sets sail from Miami.

The cruise, which will feature Trek-themed bars, life-sized board games, and performances by the Enterprise Blues Band, celebrates the 50 year anniversary of the Star Trek franchise. The ship will visit Cozumel, Nassau, and NCL's private island.
Shatner won't be the only Trek celebrity on board - Jonathan Frakes, Marina Sirtis, John de Lancie, Denise Crosby, and Robert Picardo will also share in the journey, along with cast members from Voyager and Deep Space Nine.
