New York Comic Con is one of the last big conventions of the year, and TV shows especially roll out the big guns to pump up ratings for there freshly premiered (or upcoming) series.
Here are some highlights and season sizzle reels from our favorite shows.
In other news:
- It was announced that Paul Rubens (AKA Peewee Herman) will play the Penguin's father on Gotham. As you may recall, he also played that roll in Tim Burton's Batman sequel, Batman Returns in 1992...
- Clark Gregg confimred the obvious in stating that this season of Agents of SHIELD will intersect with this spring's MCU mega-flick Captain America: Civil War
- The full pilot for Netflix/Marvel's Jessica Jones was previewed at the panel and was very well received - the rest of us will have to wait for November 20th...
- The first episode of 'Season 10' of The X-Files was also previewed. It is awesome and I am sooooooooooo jealous.
- Bruce Campbell and Sam Raimi surprised their panel attendees with a screening of the first episode on Ash vs, the Evil Dead - and all reports indicate it is as fun (and groovy) as any fan would hope! It premieres on STARZ Halloween night.
New trailers were released for upcoming YA fantasy series...
