Casting News - Netflix's Daredevil

For those of you who don't know, Marvel has signed a massive deal for original series on Netflix. Daredevil will be their first series release in 2015, followed by titles including Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage, and The Defenders.

Today they announced that True Blood alum, Deborah Ann Woll (Jessica) will be playing Matt Murdock's love interest, Karen Page.

She will be joining Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock/Daredevil), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), Rosario Dawson and Vincent D'Onofrio (Kingpin) on the 13-episode series.

Netflix's 'Daredevil' failed in its attempt to create another series showing that a villain can become a hero. When 'Daredevil' first aired on Netflix, I was excited to watch it and see how Netflix will be able to tell its story. However, after watching the first season, I was very much disappointed. There were a lot of plot holes and it felt forced. The story of the main character, Daredevil, did not really felt genuine and so I did not feel like it was something that I could relate to.
