This latest collection of episodes from the cult comedy series bowls a perfect game (four turkeys) as comic kingpins Joel, Mike and their robot teammates Tom Servo and Crow riff strike after strike. Not a single instance of bad acting, bad writing or bad filmmaking is spared. This promises to be a Thanksgiving match for the ages and, needless to say, you will have a ball. Whether it’s ten frames or 24 per second, the snarky anarchy of MST3K will be right up your alley. Oh and as an added bonus this set contains new and exclusive Turkey Day intros by Joel Hodgson. Most TV shows are coming up on their 'Fall Finales' before they go on hiatus for the holiday season. So we did a quick poll of the GG Inc. staffers to see what they will be binge watching to kill time until January - you know, other than turkey, eggnog, shopping and ugly sweater parties! Lauren: Parks and Recreation & Star Wars Rebels It has always looked hilarious (and has been recommended by several friends) and now that I am addicted to Chris Pratt, it is time to catch up on this comedy cult favorite. (Also, after December 9th, I will be watching Guardians of the Galaxy on repeat...) ****See this week's major new movies, books and games after the jump!****
by Miss Sally There’s no doubt Steven Moffat has ruffled feathers with his Dr. Who decisions over the years. While I’ve been critical of many of his recent writing decisions, Moffat has unlocked my giddy fangirl psyche with the casting of Scottish actress Michelle Gomez as The Master.
I can’t say it enough: Michelle Gomez is nothing short of BRILLIANT! Fresh from this week's rumor mill... Suicide Squad - TONS of rumors about possible casting for this David Ayers-helmed DC film. Will Smith, Tom Hardy, Jon Bernthal, Margot Robbie (Harley) and Jarod Leto (The Joker) are names we have heard around the web lately. Either way, Ayers is approaching this film with an eye on A-List casting to bring to life his "Dirty Dozen with supervillans" movie.
I haven't seen this yet, but I am stopping on the way home to buy it tonight! I can't wait! I loved the first one, and the animated TV series. The trailer for this blew me away. I have been told by friends who saw it that it is amazing! I have also been warned the ending requires tissues, so be prepared. ****See this week's major new movies, books and games after the jump!****
TJ describes himself as “a 9-5 office worker by day and a superhero/author by night. It's a difficult life to be sure, maintaining my daily life and a secret identity, but somehow, some way, I make it work.”

by Annie Halloween is over and the costumes are put away. You've eaten so many skittles you can no longer taste anything much less the rainbow. For some reason the weather switched to instant winter complete with wind, snow and gross. I think we could use some happiness via the internet and no this isn't a cat video. “It's the Star Wars Trilogy like you've never heard it before! Who are these actors mentioned above? You might have never seen them before but if you have watched basically any cartoon ever you probably have heard at least one of them.
This video is long, an hour and a half - but it is really entertaining. There's Bubbles from The Power Puff Girls as Darth Vader, R2D2 doing a Bill Cosby impression, and basically every character from Futurama acting out other Star Wars characters. It is really fascinating and entertaining to see these voice actors practice their craft. It is amazing how they can generate so many different voices and characters. Go watch it and heal your Halloween hangover. |
