Arrow just wrapped its 3rd season and is still going strong - giving us both a mystery twist and a happy ending all at the same time in this year's finale. The first season of The Flash ran so perfectly and was so well crafted, that it is hard to believe it WAS only the first season. And that finale... seriously, don't get me started on that cliffhanger!
We've all seen the trailer for the upcoming spin-off DC's Legends of Tomorrow and it looks like it is going to crush also - seriously Vandal Savage! Epic villain, I'm so excited.

Next, there is the CW's warhorse, Supernatural, which just wrapped its 10th season - a feat reached by only an handful of genre shows in history. They had their 200th episode earlier this season and destroyed all with a musical episode so fantastic that it will live in infamy for all time. I know in my heart the show, and the Winchesters, are nearing their final battles - but I will be with them to the very end.
An outstanding surprise is new series iZombie, what has won me over with its wit, humor and shocking plot twists (I'm still not over Episode 10, Patriot Brains). Our editor, Lindsey, described it as the Orphan Black of network TV with regards to OMG moments. Even though it came late to the TV party, it is closing out the CW regular season with a bang.
I broke up with The Vampire Diaries and The Originals about a year and a half ago, but I'm glad they are on the air still, holding down the hot vampire segment of the genre.
Many of these shows would not have survived on the 'big three' networks, so I am very grateful to the 'powers that be' over at the CW for standing by - and even increasing - the genre shows on the network. And now I count the days until the Fall season starts back...
